HOTEL "AL GALLO" - ODERZO
Close to the center of Oderzo, between Venice and Treviso, nestled among narrow streets
which preserve the tranquillity, there's a beautiful house built in 1700, owned by the Corner nobles
and then by the Picchi brothers, wealthy Venetian merchants.
Today this structure is a charming Country Hotel, simple and comfortable,
managed by the Pizzolato family with love and professionalism since 1991.
The restaurantThe restaurant is typical of the intense cuisine of the area; one may enjoy the rustic flavors of authentic Venetian tradition, both proud and pleasantly warm. Guests at the bar can enjoy a refreshing break with a drink and a chat or linger for a while before ascending to the rooms. Ettore and Vanna personally manage the kitchen, preparing simple and tasty dishes for their guests, with menus created by choosing only products which are in season. Traditional dishes like fresh pasta with beans, salted whitefish with polenta, are accompanied by dishes like steak with Parmasean cheese and balsamic vinegar or green gnocchetti with smoked ham and mushrooms. To accompany the creations from the kitchen, the cellar offers the famous prosecco and a selection of the best red wines of Piave and beyond.
